- Help parents take the guesswork out of choosing child care through referrals to local child care providers
- Provide information on state licensing requirements
- Are aware of the availability of child care subsidies, and other pertinent information.
- Provide guidance by phone, by email or in person
- Educate parents on how to identify quality child care
CCR&Rs help to improve the quality of child care by
- Providing ongoing professional development opportunities to child care providers and staff
- Supporting accreditation programs
- Helping create financial incentives for education
- Advocating for better compensation for providers
- Reaching out to business leaders, law enforcement, school teachers, and other community members; CCR&Rs help make child care an issue the entire community cares about
