Raising children can be challenging, but when you are prepared to handle stress in a safe way you can protect your kids from the long-term negative impact that can result from exposure to violence in childhood. Learn how to recognize warning signs, and what to do if you suspect your child has been abused by someone else.

Our presenter, Dr. Maria McColgan, is a board certified Child Abuse Pediatrician and the Director of the Child Protection Program at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. McColgan is also the Pediatric Advisor and Founding Chair of the Advisory Board to Prevent Child Abuse Pennsylvania.
