Child Care Specializations

What are Specializations?

IdahoSTARS has defined a child care specialization as a formal recognition for individuals who work with young children and families in child care. A specialization recognizes a combination of requirements including training, reflection and practical experiences in a specific area of expertise.

The first two specializations being offered are Strengthening Families through Early Care and Education and Child Care Director/Administrator.
