IdahoSTARS is implementing a two week evaluation due to a request from our funding and monitoring agency. The IdahoSTARS Training Office must demonstrate that providers are using the information learned during IdahoSTARS approved training they attend with the children and families they work with. Demonstrating that providers are gaining knowledge which is used in their work will help provide future funding for training scholarships and Professional Development System (PDS) incentives.
Attendees will submit the evaluation to the Training Office instead of directly to the trainer. This will allow for a reflection and implementation period for the attendee on the delivery and information provided at the training. The evaluations will be summarized by the Training Office and only the summary will be given to the trainer to provide feedback which will allow for the confidentiality of the attendee’s evaluation.
